Professor's Notes:

Now that Ranknown is on lookout duty for Deuxrai (formerly Siltradon's job), I feel safe enough to get back to work. For my latest fusion, I decided to use a Tangela, an Omastar, and a Smeargle (the last one just for the heck of it).

The result, Tanastagle, is actually a rather dangerous FUSEmon. The fluid on the tails it possesses has become extremely poisonous, suggesting that Tangela may have some latent poison DNA. Curiously, Tanastagle seems to be immune to its own poison, but is vunerable to most other kinds, despite the fact that its own poison is more caustic than most of the tested poisons. Tangela's vines seem to have fused with Omastar's tentacles, resulting in a limb I call a "tentavine." It seems to use the three "tail" tentavines that sprout from the hole in the back of its shell to walk around on land, proving that the tentavines are quite strong, especially considering Tanastagle's weight. Tanastagle seems as equally comfortable in water as it is on land. It is able to swim around in short bursts by using its vines and tails like propellers. Upon closer examination, the three vines that appear to be tails are only extra long vines which (when traced all the way along their length) are wrapped around Tanastagle's body like all the rest.

Creepily, it has kept all six of its component pokemon's eyes, along with Omastar's mouth (which is hidden beneath its tentavines.) Four Smeargle ears seem to be growing from its shell, which is fascinating and somewhat disgusting at the same time. Tanastagle is actually quite docile, if occasionally playful, which I attribute to Smeargle's influence. However, also much like Smeargle, it likes painting marks on the wall to mark its territory. This is quite annoying, because as I mentioned earlier in these notes, the fluid in its tails is now highly caustic. This means that once it leaves a mark, the poison melts through the wall, leaving a giant hole. And Tanastagle LOVES to do this, despite the fact that its creations keep getting destroyed due to the nature of the material that it's using. I am currently in the process of having Tanastagle moved to a poison proof room, where it can feel free to leave as many marks on the wall as it wants. I have a plan to occasionally go in with a hazmat suit and wash the marks off so it can make new ones. However, first I have to bring those construction workers from before back in to fix the giant holes in my lab...

PRIVATE EMAIL, sent to (10) recipients on 10/11/10, 6:00 AM: We've got a problem... my most recent fusion, Tanastagle, seems to have... erm... mated with a fellow fusion known as Cruwilvine ( dragonith.deviantart.com/art/F… ). While me and Dragonith were deciding who would take care of the offspring, known as Tanavine, it wandered off! Tanavine is currently lost somewhere in FUSE Corp labs. Dragonith and I are doing everything we can to find it, but we're starting to get worried... not to mention if word of this reaches E we'll be fired in a heartbeat. We could really use the help, so if any of you see the little guy ( dragonith.deviantart.com/art/F… ), be sure to tell us!

PRIVATE EMAIL, sent to (10) recipients on 10/13/10, 9:37 PM: Okay, Tanavine has been found, thanks to the help of both its parents, along with a helicoptor and a large amount of pokemon food. Both of which would've headed off the island if not for our rather timely intervention. Currently Tanavine is on a kind of "time-share" program, similar to children with divorced parents. (Not the best comparison...) Dragonith and I exchange care of the little guy every week. Tanavine is quite nice, when he's not wandering off aimlessly. Thanks for all your help everyone. I'll trust you NOT to tell our boss about this, okay?

OOC:

Apparently, yes, all my fusions ARE going to take this long to upload. For :iconfuse-corp:. I just couldn't help but do this. I had to have a pokemon with tons of tentacles (or "tentavines" in this case) it could use all at the same time to overwhelm the opponent. :D I've had that idea since I was what, ten? ;P

Although Tangela, Omastar, and Smeargle do not exist in my region, Tanastagle WILL be included in my region.
